Wayne Meets Daniel (Excerpt from Chapter 1)

He went to respond when Rachel responded for him, “Why don’t you guys leave him alone? Don’t you have anything better to do?”      “Stay out of this, Rachel,” said Daniel. He paused for a second. His attention seemed to turn towards Wayne who was almost hidden in the background as he tried to sneak away. “Who’s the new kid?”      Wayne jumped and spun around. He didn’t seem happy that he was noticed, “Who? Me? Oh…I’m Wayne, Wayne Wright.” He smiled and slowly extended his hand towards Daniel.      He just stared at him, “Wayne, huh? Why are you hanging around a loser like him?” He pointed at Ryan. “Are you a loser like him?”      “I wouldn’t exactly call Mr. Harper a loser,” replied Wayne, “but I haven’t exactly known him all that long. He might be…he might not be. As for hanging out with him, I wouldn’t exactly call this hanging. More like, getting better acquainted. You could say I’m learning my surroundings.” He eyed Daniel closely, “You must be the proverbial alpha male.“

The God Complex (Prologue)

The sounds of gunfire and explosions echoed throughout the house. Occasionally, something would screech in pain as if it was dying. If one didn’t know any better, they would have thought it was a warzone, but it was just another normal night for the Harper children. The two brothers were gathered in the family room around the television playing a video game. They moved their joysticks frantically to control their characters on the screen.      “Die, alien scum!” said Nicholas as he leaned closer to the screen.      Ryan just sat back in his seat. He could tell that Nicholas was really into the game, but for some reason, he couldn’t. He turned to the window and gazed up into the night sky. He wished things could be different, but they weren’t.      “Ryan, aliens on the left,” said Nicholas. “Cover me so that I can get a better position to flank them.”      Ryan didn’t respond. He didn’t even hear his brother. He was lost in thought. Blasts came from the alien invaders on the sc

The God Complex Synopsis

Here is the synopsis for my upcoming novel. It will be part of a series of books entitled Wright Time, Wrong Place which will itself be a part of a series called Wayne Wright Chronicles. Enjoy: Things were normal in the quiet town of Weston until strange lights appeared in the night sky. The next day, a mysterious new student by the name of Wayne Wright appeared at school. No one knew anything about this new student, but they knew there was something not quite right about him. He didn’t seem like a normal teen. Two students named Rachel Winters and Ryan Harper were intrigued by him, though, and quickly befriended him. Others like Ryan’s brother, Eric Harper, and Daniel Evans branded him an outcast. They did everything they could to make his school life a living hell. It didn’t seem to faze Wayne. Instead, he seemed to relish it like it was some big game to challenge him which only made them step up their attacks on him. Then, the unthinkable happened. Their history teacher assigned th

Intro

Hey, my name is William J. Krimson. I thought I would take this time to post an introduction of who I am. Now, I know some of you aren’t interested in that kind of info and will probably never read this post, but to those who are interested, please read on. I will try my best to let you know a little bit about me. I guess we should start with a little basic information. I was born in Jacksonville, Arkansas on July 4, 1976. Yes, that’s right. I am an Independence baby. I lived most of my life, though, in the great state of North Carolina (sarcasm). My interests are writing (of course), hiking, drawing, reading a good book, Xbox 360, movies, swords, Transformers, the Marvel Universe, sci-fi, Dungeons & Dragons, Halloween, and anything creative. I went to college (well, a community college) to study criminal justice. I planned to be a private investigator, but things didn’t quite pan out. Between family problems and losing interest in my chosen career path, I dropped out of school a
